Parohinog Case

The seminar conducted by PCOL Jayson Carpio De Guzman showed how he successfully handled the Parohinog Case back when he was the Provincal Director 10, by sharing his secrets. Among the advices he gave us, I took note of Financial Management. This is very important as having this values enables us to properly manage our finances, especially for someone like me who came from a poor family. This will help me manage my finances wisely after I graduate. I think it's critical for police officers to uphold certain ideals that are consistent with their personal objectives. I consider it to be one of my most essential beliefs to continually seek out ways to assist people. The Police Operational Procedures Manual should be routinely reviewed in order to stay current on law enforcement's rules and practices. This enables me to uphold the law properly and avert any potential problems. Upholding a positive service reputation is another essential value for me. It is crucial for me to pursue excellence in my profession and embrace whatever obstacles I may face when I am deployed to the field. Since I never know when I might be transferred to another assignment, I also make sure to always prepare a backup plan in case something goes wrong. This makes it possible for me to finish my current work in a tidy and orderly fashion, avoiding the possibility that any issues will carry over to my subsequent assignment.

It’s also critical to keep in mind that the ultimate result does not excuse any immoral or improper methods used to get there. As a police officer, I constantly strive for a healthy job and successful results. Lastly, another key goal for me is to always be ready for any circumstance that might come. As a future police officer, I am aware that some of my responsibilities can be hazardous, therefore I constantly try to anticipate issues and have backup plans ready. PCOL De Guzman wisely handled the Parohinog Case that not only changed the criminal status of that area, but also the whole nation. I am glad to attend this seminar and be imparted wise words that would greatly help me in my future endeavor as a police officer.
