Leadership is a journey. Each one of us has to take our own path, and get there our own way. — David Gergen

Hon. Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez of the Philippines House of Representatives was the Guest of Honor and Speaker of the 100th day as the Acting Director of PBGEN Eric E. Noble. He discussed several programs towards the modernization of PNPA and produced a new set of future public officers born out of these novel approaches. He also emphasized the value of incentives and how they might raise cadets' morale within the institution.

As an Iskolar Para Sa Bayan and PNPA Cadet, it is with the utmost respect that we must spend the incentives we receive as they come out of the taxpayer's money. The director also elucidated that hazing and maltreatment are not condoned within the academy, especially during his ruling. It is observed that hazing continues to occur in the academy because learned behavior and the cultural acceptance of hazing are transferred to the cadets as they enter the institution.[1]

As a future police officer and now the current Battalion Investigation Officer, I have to ensure that my fellow cadets be high morale and do not experience nor conduct maltreatment and hazing. This is very important in ensuring we remain morally upright as cadets. We shape our characters into future police officers who have integrity, know individual human rights, and do not resort to physical means at every opportunity. This speech is both from Hon. Romualdez and PBGEN Eric E Noble once again reminded me of the essence of being a cadet, which is to become a future public servant who is excellent, trustworthy, sympathetic, and honest.

They also show the importance of the Incident Command System (ICS), which guides how to organize assets to respond to an incident and processes to manage the response through its successive stages.[2]

As a police officer, it's crucial to have good management skills that align with the Incident Command System. Briefing and debriefing sessions are vital parts of incident response to ensure that everyone involved is on the same page and that they may take any necessary measures may take any actions needed to improve the outcome.

Hi, thanks for dropping by!

I am a cadet of the Philippine National Police Academy Masidtalak Class of 2023. I am also a member of the Alfa Company and the First Battalion Investigation Officer. Just like everybody else, I used to be a civilian who dreamed of becoming a part of the long maroon line.
