"Youth is the trustee of prosperity." - Benjamin Disraeli

In line with the Revitalized KASIMBAYANAN PROGRAM and CPNP’s MKK=K Peace and Order Strategic Framework Program,[1] on January 21, 2023, Police Cadets from Philippine National Police Academy joined Personnel of Tagaytay Component City Police Station, as they conduct Youth Summit (City Level) in preparation for upcoming Provincial Youth Summit in Brgy San Francisco, Tagaytay City headed by Hon. Theresa O Llorente, SK President, together with Pastor Hernanie Rimero.

The involvement of police cadets from the Philippine National Police Academy in the Youth Summit held in Tagaytay City is a significant effort towards promoting peace and security in the community. This event was conducted in line with the KASIMBAYANAN program of the PNP, which seeks to bridge the PNP to the religious sector and other faith-based organizations to achieve a more holistic and sustainable peace and security situation in the community.

Through this initiative, the PNP can engage with young people in the community and promote positive relationships between the police and youth. This can help young people better to understand the role of the police in their community and address any concerns or misconceptions they may have. The youth summit also provides an opportunity for the PNP to gather feedback and insights from young people on issues affecting their communities and work with them to develop solutions and strategies to address these issues.

The involvement of police cadets in the youth summit also aligns with the MKK=K Peace and Order Strategic Framework Program of the Chief, Philippine National Police. This framework emphasizes the importance of collaboration with stakeholders, including the youth, to achieve peace and order in the community. Through this program, the PNP recognizes the critical role of the youth in the community and the need to engage with them to address issues and concerns that affect their lives.

In addition, youth summits can provide an avenue for the PNP to identify potential leaders among the youth who can serve as partners in promoting peace and security in the community. By engaging with the youth and providing them with opportunities to develop their leadership skills and participate in community-building initiatives, the PNP can help create a culture of active citizenship and foster a sense of ownership and responsibility among the youth towards the community.

The involvement of police cadets in the youth summit is a testament to the PNP's commitment to building solid relationships with the community and promoting a holistic and sustainable approach to peace and security. Through initiatives like this, the PNP can work towards creating a more peaceful and harmonious society where everyone can live, work, and thrive in a safe and secure environment.

Hi, thanks for dropping by!

I am a cadet of the Philippine National Police Academy Masidtalak Class of 2023. I am also a member of the Alfa Company and the First Battalion Investigation Officer. Just like everybody else, I used to be a civilian who dreamed of becoming a part of the long maroon line.
