In line with the active leadership of the PNPA Director, PMGEN Eric Escosio Noble, and the Dean of Academics, PCOL Arnold Peralta Ardiente, take pride to setting foot on a fruitful Cadet Attachment Program (CAP). At 8:40 AM of January 14, 2023, PNP Cadets reported at Tagaytay Component City Police Station and participated in the briefing of activities under the direct supervision of PLTCOL Charles Daven M. Capagcuan, OIC, Tagaytay CCPS.
The opening of the Cadet Attachment Program (CAP) for the graduating cadets of the PNPA MASIDTALAK Class of 2023 will take place at the iconic Heroes Hall, Academics Building on January 9, 2023. The PNPA MASIDTALAK Class of 2023 will graduate from the Academy in a few months as legitimate officers of the Tri-Bureau Service.
To develop their abilities and skills for performing their duties as young leaders, the soon-to-be law enforcement officers will participate in carefully prepared real-time activities and workshops. Additionally, they will receive training on how to manage a variety of circumstances and perform the fundamental duties of future officers. They will be integrated into various local police stations so they may put the knowledge they have learned in the academy to use and collect new, creative ideas that will help them develop into well-rounded people. The graduating cadets will benefit much from this training, which will help them understand what to anticipate in the real setting.
The Cadet Attachment Program (CAP) is important for Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) cadets as it provides them with hands-on practical experience in different police units and departments, allowing them to apply the theories and concepts learned in the academy in real-life situations. The CAP also allows cadets to familiarize themselves with the workings of the police organization, as well as to establish relationships and networks with police personnel. The exposure to various police functions helps in building their understanding of the complexities of police work, preparing them better for their future careers as police officers. Furthermore, the CAP contributes to their overall personal and professional growth and development, making them more well-rounded and effective in serving the community.
The active leadership of PNPA Director PMGEN Noble and the Dean of Academics, PCOL Ardiente, is a positive reflection of their commitment to developing the next generation of police officers in the Philippines. By initiating the Cadet Attachment Program (CAP), they are providing PNP Cadets with valuable hands-on experience, which is crucial for their growth as future law enforcement officers.[1]
On January 14, 2023, the report at Tagaytay Component City Police Station is a clear indication of the effectiveness of the CAP, as it provides cadets with an opportunity to participate in various activities under the direct supervision of OIC, Tagaytay CCPS, PLTCOL Charles Daven M. Capagcuan. This level of supervision ensures that the cadets receive proper guidance, enabling them to learn new skills and refine existing ones.
Overall, the CAP is an excellent initiative demonstrating the leadership's commitment to promoting excellence and professional growth among cadets. By providing them with exposure to practical scenarios, cadets can gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities involved in being law enforcement officers. This program is instrumental in ensuring cadets have a strong foundation as they begin their careers in the PNP, paving the way for their success in serving and protecting the public.
