"There is no right to strike against public safety by anybody, anywhere, anytime." - Calvin Coolidge

On January 25, 2023, Police Cadets from Philippine National Police Academy together with personnel of Tagaytay CCPS, under the direct supervision of PLTCOL Charles Daven M. Capagcuan, OIC Tagaytay Component City Police Station, conducted Oplan Solignum to prevent robbery incident perpetrated by termite gang and other lawless elements.

Oplan Solignum is a proactive measure undertaken by the Philippine National Police to curb incidents of robbery and other forms of criminality. The police cadets' involvement in this initiative demonstrates their commitment to upholding public safety and security. It also reflects the PNP's strategy of engaging with the community and working closely with stakeholders to maintain law and order.

Termite gangs are known for their ability to enter homes and establishments unnoticed and carry out criminal activities. They often use various techniques to distract their targets and create confusion, allowing them to carry out their crimes easily. However, through the Oplan Solignum, the PNP can detect and prevent these types of incidents before they occur, thus thwarting the activities of these termite gangs.

The involvement of the police cadets in the Oplan Solignum is also an opportunity for them to gain practical experience in community policing. It allows them to learn how to identify potential threats and work with local authorities to prevent criminal activities. Moreover, it also teaches them the value of cooperation and partnership in the community.

By actively participating in initiatives like the Oplan Solignum, the PNP can promote a culture of safety and security in the community. It helps build trust and confidence between the police and the public as they work together towards creating a peaceful and harmonious society.[1] The police cadets' participation in this activity also emphasizes the importance of teamwork and leadership in achieving these objectives.

In conclusion, the Oplan Solignum is an excellent example of the PNP's commitment to public safety and security. Through proactive measures like this, the PNP can effectively address criminal activities and prevent them from occurring in the first place. With the involvement of the police cadets, the PNP can also ensure the continuity of this initiative and cultivate a new generation of law enforcement officers dedicated to upholding the peace and security of the community.

Hi, thanks for dropping by!

I am a cadet of the Philippine National Police Academy Masidtalak Class of 2023. I am also a member of the Alfa Company and the First Battalion Investigation Officer. Just like everybody else, I used to be a civilian who dreamed of becoming a part of the long maroon line.
