The Quad Concept of the PNP is a comprehensive strategy that integrates four key areas of police work: administration and finance, operations, logistics, and plans and research. These four areas work together to ensure that the PNP can maintain peace and order, prevent and control crimes, and protect life and property.[1]

The orientation and familiarization of Police Cadets with the Quad Concept is crucial to their training as future police officers. This enables them to understand the holistic approach of the PNP to fulfill its mandate and how each aspect of the Quad Concept is essential in ensuring the safety and security of the community. It also gives them a better understanding of how the PNP operates, from the planning stage to actual implementation, and how every decision affects the community.

The Cadet Attachment Program provides a unique opportunity for police cadets to learn about the PNP’s strategies and techniques for maintaining peace and order, crime prevention, and community safety. This program enables the cadets to be involved in actual police work and to gain practical knowledge and experience that will prepare them for their future roles as police officers.
